((This is a fan fiction so i am alowing myself to godmode but not with any registered users))

Malisa turned the page in her book and put her arm back down to stroke her cat who was purring softley beside her. "You're lucky." she whispered to her. "At least you don't fear sleep."

The cat seemed to ignor her and carried on purring. Malisa sighed.

The door creacked open to reviel her father, Lucius Malfoy. "You're late for dinner." he explained looking down at her with anoyance on his face.

"Sorry." she appolagised putting down her book and giving her cat a final storke before following her father down to the dinning room.

The first thing that happend when she stepped into the room was her mother smirking. "You're never late." she said. "Something must be wrong."

Malisa said nothing and took her seat.

Draco was already sitting opposite her. He also smirked. Why must she always be smirked at?


"What are you so happy about Draco?" asked Malisa without spite.

"Something's up with you." he said.

"And something's up with you too, I saw you doing you're homework yesterday." said Malisa with distaste.

"i know we don't get along, but why are you so rude?" exclaimed Draco.

"Draco, be quiet and eat you're vegetables." said Narcissa.

Malisa grinned.

"Mother, Malisa is being rude again."

"Why are you two always fighting?!" yelled Narcissa. "Don't make me use a silenceing charm again." she warned.

The four of them stayed quiet during the rest of dinner and eventually Draco left.

"Can you go to you're room Malisa?" asked Lucius. "You're mother and I have to talk."

Malisa didn't reply but left the room anyway and decided to listen at the door.

"should...tel her... no... terrible... but.... we can't... fine." the voices stopped and Maliswased her chance to make a run for it. Something was up and she wanted to find out...

Evelyn walked down the stairs, left hand lightly touching the the banister, the other rubbing sleep out of her eye. She noted as she got to the bottom of the stairs that Malisa was running away from the door, "Malisa, what are you running from?" she asked.

Malisa slipped past Evelyn without a word and heade up to the landing.
